With the sound installation The Sound of Heerings Gaard you are taken on a sonic journey back to the 19th century in Christianshavn. In the wine cellar, you can explore the immersive soundscapes of crashing waves, blooming life on the harbour, horse-drawn carriages on the cobblestones, trading in coins and cherry liqueur being poured. The field recordings are woven together with new interpretations of the music from the time. A self-generating multi-channel installation, which is forever changing, opens up our senses and let us feel the wings of history.
